Role Description The Technical Writer role at Booster Edu Tech is a full-time, on-site position based in Thoothukudi. This role involves creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation for courses, platforms, tools, and internal processes. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and updating manuals, guides, and reference materials, collaborating with subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into accessible content, and maintaining consistent documentation standards across products. The Technical Writer will also review and edit existing materials, ensure terminology and style alignment, and contribute to improving the overall learner experience through high-quality documentation.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Writing and Technical Documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Technical Communication to effectively collaborate with instructors, developers, and product teams.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in creating and maintaining Documentation and Manuals for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong command of written English and ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear, structured manner.
- Experience working with educational or software documentation, preferably in programming or web technologies.
- Familiarity with documentation tools (such as Markdown, HTML, or documentation platforms) and version control concepts is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple documentation projects and deadlines.
