About the Role
Do you understand technology and have a flair for creative writing?
Can you turn complex B2B technology and business topics into content that people want to read?
If yes, that is what we are looking for.
As a Technical & Creative Content Writer - B2B, you will plan, research, create, and edit content for our B2B technology clients.
You will work across different industries and need to understand the client's business, products, technology, customers, industry, competitors, and positioning before creating content. You should be able to understand both the technical and business side of a product and turn complex topics into clear, engaging, and relevant content for B2B audiences.
You will create content for different stages of the B2B buyer journey, from building awareness and educating audiences to generating interest, supporting demand generation, and helping move prospects towards a buying decision.
The role also requires a good understanding of how B2B content is discovered and consumed through search engines, answer engines, and AI-powered search.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the client's business, products, services, technology, industry, customers, decision-makers, competitors, positioning, and tone of voice.
- Research B2B industries, companies, technologies, and customer challenges to develop relevant content.
- Understand the client's target audience and create content around their business challenges, questions, pain points, and buying considerations.
- Write, edit, and manage technical and creative B2B content across different platforms and formats.
- Create blogs, website content, case studies, eBooks, whitepapers, reports, brochures, social media content, email content, video scripts, and other marketing and sales assets.
- Develop content ideas and recommendations based on business objectives, audience needs, industry trends, customer challenges, and search behaviour.
- Create content outlines and content plans for client and in-house requirements.
- Develop thought leadership and research-driven content for B2B technology audiences.
- Create content for different stages of the B2B buyer journey and support inbound marketing and demand generation campaigns.
- Adapt writing style, tone, messaging, and level of technical detail based on the client, industry, audience, and content format.
- Apply SEO best practices while developing content, including search intent, keyword usage, content structure, headings, internal linking, and long-tail keywords.
- Understand AEO and how content can be structured to answer questions clearly and effectively.
- Understand how B2B audiences are increasingly discovering information through AI-powered search and LLMs and apply relevant content practices.
- Review and improve existing content based on relevance, readability, search intent, and audience engagement.
- Edit, proofread, fact-check, and quality check content before delivery.
- Work with subject matter experts, clients, Account Managers, SEO, Design, and other internal teams to develop the required content.
- Ensure content is original, well researched, factually accurate, and aligned with the client's business and marketing objectives.
- Use AI tools where appropriate to support research, brainstorming, information gathering, editing, and improving productivity and speed.
- Take ownership of content deliverables and ensure they are completed within agreed timelines.
- Stay updated on B2B industries, technology, content marketing, SEO, search trends, and new content formats.
