Position: Technical Documentation Writer
Experience: 3-6 Years

Key Responsibilities
- Product & Technical Documentation
- Create Product Documentation: Develop clear and structured documentation for SaaS products, AI solutions, applications, modules, workflows, and system features.
- Translate Technical Concepts: Convert complex technical and functional concepts into easy-to-understand documentation for developers, implementation consultants, administrators, and end users.
- Document Product Workflows: Create detailed documentation covering end-to-end business and system workflows, including user actions, system responses, validations, approvals, exceptions, and integrations.
- Maintain Documentation: Continuously update documentation based on new product releases, enhancements, configuration changes, and deprecated functionality.
- Requirements & Product Documentation
- Understand Requirements: Review PRDs, BRDs, user stories, functional specifications, API specifications, architecture documents, and Jira tickets to understand product requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Teams: Work closely with Product Managers and Business Analysts to convert requirements into structured product and technical documentation.
- Document Business Rules: Clearly capture business rules, validations, dependencies, assumptions, configurations, and exception scenarios.
- Create Release Documentation: Prepare release notes, feature documentation, enhancement summaries, migration notes, and known-issue documentation for product releases.
- Enterprise & Implementation Documentation
- Implementation Guides: Create step-by-step implementation and configuration documentation for enterprise customers.
- Configuration Documentation: Document tenant-level configurations, roles, permissions, workflows, business rules, and system parameters.
- Process Documentation: Create SOPs, process guides, operational manuals, implementation playbooks, and administrator guides.
- RFP/RFI Support: Support Product, Pre-Sales, and Implementation teams by creating technical responses, solution descriptions, process flows, and capability documentation for RFP/RFI requirements.
- Documentation Quality & Validation
- Technical Validation: Work with Engineering, QA, Architects, and Product teams to validate that documentation accurately represents the actual product behavior.
- UAT Documentation: Support UAT teams by documenting test scenarios, expected system behavior, business workflows, and user instructions.
- Documentation Audits: Regularly review existing documentation to identify outdated, incomplete, duplicated, or inconsistent information.
- Quality Standards: Ensure documentation follows established standards for terminology, structure, formatting, version control, and readability.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Core Domain & Education
- Technical Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience in Technical Writing, Product Documentation, Software Documentation, API Documentation, or Technical Content Development.
- Enterprise Software Exposure: Experience working with SaaS, HRTech, ERP, VMS, AI/ML, other enterprise software products is preferred.
AI & Modern Technology Skills Understanding
- AI Literacy: Understanding of fundamental AI/ML concepts, LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, AI agents, prompts, training vs. inference, and AI application workflows.
- AI-Assisted Content Creation: Experience using AI tools to improve documentation productivity while maintaining human review and technical accuracy.
- Knowledge Management: Understanding of structured knowledge bases and documentation required to support AI-powered enterprise search and conversational assistants.
Added Advantage
- Enterprise Application Knowledge: Experience documenting HRMS, HCM, ERP, VMS, CRM, Procurement, Finance, or other enterprise platforms.
- Integration Knowledge: Exposure to SAP, Workday, SuccessFactors, REST APIs, webhooks, middleware, or third-party integrations.
- RFP/RFI Experience: Experience creating technical responses and documentation for RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and enterprise customer requirements.
- Agile Experience: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with Product Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, and Business Analysts.
- Developer Documentation: Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, Git, Markdown, or developer portals.
- Process Modelling: Ability to represent workflows using flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, BPMN, UML, or similar techniques.

- Technical Communicator: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts in simple and structured language.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, QA, Business Analysts, Implementation Consultants, and customers.
