Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Technical Consultant Siemens NX. The Technical Consultant will provide expert support on Siemens NX, including installation, configuration, and ongoing technical assistance to customers and partners. The role involves conducting product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops to help users adopt best practices in CAD/CAM and PLM workflows. The consultant will collaborate with sales and technical teams to understand client requirements, design solutions, and address technical queries during pre-sales and post-sales engagements. Day-to-day responsibilities also include troubleshooting issues, creating technical documentation and knowledge base articles, and contributing feedback to enhance solution offerings and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Siemens NX, including CAD/CAM modeling, assembly design, and drafting, and hands-on experience implementing NX in real-world engineering workflows.
- Solid understanding of PLM concepts and tools, with exposure to Siemens PLM or similar platforms, and the ability to align technical solutions with customer processes.
- Experience in engineering design or mechanical/production engineering, supported by a relevant degree or diploma (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or equivalent).
- Ability to conduct technical trainings, demos, and workshops, with clear communication skills and the capacity to translate complex concepts into practical guidance.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to analyze user issues, document solutions, and provide timely remote support.
- Comfort working in a distributed, remote environment, managing multiple customer engagements, and collaborating effectively with sales, support, and partner teams.
- Familiarity with other CAD/CAE/PLM tools (e.g., Solid Edge, BricsCAD, or Hexagon solutions) and prior experience in a technical consulting or pre-sales role is an advantage.
