Role Description The Team Lead – BIM MEP is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, responsible for leading a team of BIM MEP professionals on building services projects. This role involves coordinating and reviewing MEP models, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local codes, and international standards, and resolving design and coordination issues with multidisciplinary teams. The Team Lead will oversee day-to-day project delivery, allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure that quality, safety, and timeline requirements are consistently met. The role includes close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and clients, conducting site-related reviews where required, and providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members. The Team Lead will also contribute to process improvement, documentation standards, and the implementation of best practices in BIM workflows and MEP coordination.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and experience leading BIM or MEP project teams.
- Candidates should possess Site Supervision and Inspection skills to review installations and coordinate with on-site stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, clients, and consultants.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Construction Safety practices and compliance with applicable safety standards.
- Proficiency in BIM tools (e.g., Revit MEP, Navisworks) and familiarity with clash detection and coordination workflows.
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in building services projects.
- Relevant technical degree or diploma in engineering (MEP), architecture, or a related field; prior experience in BIM MEP leadership roles is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
