Role Summary The Teacher Coordinator will be responsible for developing and managing Cedarwood’s network of teaching partners.
The role involves identifying and onboarding talented teachers, coordinating their deployment across Cedarwood centres, supporting their dayto-day operational needs, and ensuring a consistently high teaching experience through regular performance reviews and relationship management. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enjoy building relationships, and be highly organized with strong administrative abilities. Key Responsibilities Teacher Recruitment & Talent Pipeline
• Coordinate with the Marketing Team, offline learning centres, referral partners and influencers to generate a continuous pipeline of qualified teacher leads.
• Build and maintain relationships with teacher communities, educational institutions and professional networks.
• Maintain an updated database of prospective teachers and track recruitment progress through the CRM. Teacher Screening & Selection
• Conduct introductory conversations with prospective teachers to understand their qualifications, experience, subject expertise, communication skills and availability.
• Evaluate candidates against Cedarwood’s quality standards and recommend suitable teaching partners.
• Coordinate interviews, teaching demonstrations and documentation as required. Teacher Onboarding & Deployment
• Coordinate the onboarding process for newly selected teachers. Ensure all required documentation, agreements and profiles are completed.
• Match and deploy teachers to offline centres based on subject expertise, location, availability and centre requirements.
• Coordinate with business leads to ensure timely teacher placement. Teacher Performance Management
• Assist senior management in conducting quarterly teacher performance reviews.
• Compile and analyse feedback received from students, parents and centre partners.
• Identify areas for professional development and communicate constructive feedback to teachers.
• Maintain performance records and support recognition of high-performing teachers. Teacher Operations & Support
• Serve as the primary point of contact for teachers after onboarding.
• Coordinate teacher attendance, leave management and class substitutions where required.
• Coordinate teacher payouts and ensure timely processing of payments.
• Resolve day-to-day operational and administrative issues faced by teachers.
• Foster strong relationships to improve teacher engagement and retention. Obtain referrals and testimonials Process & Reporting
• Maintain accurate recruitment, onboarding and deployment records.
• Generate periodic reports on recruitment pipeline, teacher availability, deployment status and performance metrics.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance teacher recruitment, onboarding and operational efficiency.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in recruitment, operations, HR coordination, education management or customer relationship management.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable using CRM systems, spreadsheets and online collaboration tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
