Role Description The TDL Developer will design, develop, and maintain customizations in Tally using Tally Development Language (TDL) to meet specific client requirements. Responsibilities include understanding business workflows, gathering and analyzing requirements, and building features such as custom reports, vouchers, integrations, and automation within Tally. The role involves testing, debugging, and optimizing TDL code; documenting technical solutions; and supporting implementation and user training when needed. The developer will collaborate with consultants, finance teams, and other technical professionals to ensure stable, secure, and user-friendly solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Delhi Area.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP/TallyPrime and hands-on experience with Tally Development Language (TDL)
- Ability to analyze business processes and translate requirements into technical specifications and TDL customizations
- Proficiency in debugging, testing, and performance optimization of TDL code and Tally solutions
- Familiarity with accounting concepts, GST, and basic finance workflows to design practical business solutions
- Understanding of databases, data structures, and integration concepts (e.g., APIs, data import/export)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Prior experience in TDL development or customization projects for clients or internal business teams is highly beneficial
- Willingness to work on-site in the Greater Delhi Area and collaborate closely with local teams and clients
