We are seeking an experienced Tally ERP Expert with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in implementing, customizing, and managing Tally ERP/TallyPrime solutions. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the Automobile or Automotive Manufacturing industry and should possess a strong understanding of manufacturing finance, inventory management, procurement, production costing, and statutory compliance. The role involves developing and managing a robust Finance ERP system that streamlines financial operations and supports business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, customize, and manage Finance ERP using Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
- Configure and maintain Chart of Accounts, Cost Centres, Cost Categories, Budgets, Financial Controls, and Approval Workflows.
- Develop and customize Tally to meet business-specific requirements.
- Manage accounting masters including Ledgers, Stock Items, Godowns, GST Classifications, Vendors, Customers, Fixed Assets, and Payroll.
- Handle end-to-end financial accounting including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Banking, Payroll, Fixed Assets, and Inventory.
- Manage manufacturing accounting, production costing, job work accounting, BOM (Bill of Materials), material consumption, and inventory valuation.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Production, Sales, HR, and Finance teams to ensure seamless ERP integration.
- Generate MIS reports, financial dashboards, costing reports, profitability analysis, and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory regulations.
- Perform ERP data migration, system upgrades, backups, user access management, and security controls.
- Integrate Tally with third-party software, APIs, Excel, banking systems, and other business applications.
- Automate financial and operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Tally ERP 9 / TallyPrime
- Excellent knowledge of Financial Accounting and ERP implementation
- Manufacturing Accounting and Cost Accounting
- Production Costing and Inventory Management
- GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Statutory Compliance
- Bank Reconciliation and Financial Controls
- Budgeting, Forecasting, and MIS Reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Data Migration and ERP Implementation
- Knowledge of TDL (Tally Definition Language) will be an added advantage.
- Experience with ERP integration through APIs is preferred.
Mandatory Industry Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in the Automobile/Automotive Manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, inventory management, production costing, and procurement.
- Experience in handling high-volume transactions related to raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods, vendors, and customers.
- Understanding of supply chain, warehouse operations, and manufacturing finance.
- Experience in implementing or managing Finance ERP systems within an automotive manufacturing environment.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred.
- Tally Certification is desirable.
