Study Abroad Counsellor - Europe

About the Role
Glocal Opportunities is looking for a confident, enthusiastic and target-oriented Europe Study Abroad Counsellor to join our team in Delhi.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of European education destinations and be passionate about helping students choose the right country, university and course based on their academic profile and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents interested in studying in Europe.
- Understand students' academic background, career goals, budget and preferences.
- Recommend suitable countries, universities and courses based on student profiles.
- Handle enquiries and leads through calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins and online meetings.
- Guide students through the complete journey — counselling, university selection, applications, documentation and visa coordination.
- Explain admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, intakes and living costs.
- Stay updated with university programs, admission deadlines and changing study visa requirements.
- Follow up consistently with prospective students and convert enquiries into applications and admissions.
- Maintain accurate lead and student records in the CRM.
- Coordinate with university representatives, admissions teams and internal processing teams.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars and student events.
- Achieve monthly counselling, application and admission targets.
Preferred Destinations
Knowledge of one or more of the following will be an advantage:
Germany | France | Ireland | Italy | Spain | Sweden | Finland | Netherlands | Switzerland | Other European Destinations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in overseas education/study abroad counselling preferred.
- Strong knowledge of European study destinations and admission processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling, convincing and negotiation abilities.
- Good command of English and Hindi.
- Comfortable working with sales targets and lead follow-ups.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
