We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable study abroad counselor with 1 year of experience to guide students through pursuing education opportunities abroad. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of different countries' education systems, visa processes, and admission requirements and be able to provide personalized advice and support to students seeking international academic programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide students through the complete study abroad journey, from course and country selection to final admission and visa approval.
- Support students in preparing and submitting university applications, including SOP writing and document compilation.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on international education systems, admission criteria, scholarships, and visa requirements.
- Offer personalised career counseling based on students’ academic background, interests, and long-term goals.
- Assist in collecting, reviewing, and organising essential documents such as academic transcripts, financial documents, and recommendation letters.
- Stay informed about global education trends and changing immigration policies for key destinations like the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with students to ensure smooth application and admission processes.
- Coordinate with universities and internal teams to track application progress and resolve queries efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (mandatory)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in study abroad counselling or related field
- Strong understanding of international admission and visa processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple students and applications efficiently
- Knowledge of global education systems and institutions
