FirstGrad is building a different kind of study-abroad company.
We’re not traditional education agents. We don’t push universities or optimise for commissions. We work with students as a long-term partner, helping them make better decisions throughout their journey. From choosing a country, course and university to applications, education loans, visas and eventually their first day on campus.
We’re looking for a Student Coach to own that journey with our students.
What you’ll do
- Own students from first conversation to first class on campus
- Speak with 50–100+ students a day across calls, follow-ups and community channels
- Help with country, course and university selection, applications, scholarships, loans and visas
- Answer student questions and keep them moving through each stage
- Track applications, deadlines and follow-ups across multiple students
What we’re looking for
- 0–2 years of experience in counselling, sales, customer success, education or a similar role. Study-abroad experience is a plus, but not required.
- Comfortable speaking with 50–100+ students a day
- Clear communicator and good listener who can understand what students need
- Quick learner who is organised, good at follow-ups and comfortable researching new topics
- Takes ownership, gets things done and enjoys working in a fast-moving startup
