Company Description Ratan Tata Maharashtra State Skills University is the first specialized skills university established by the Government of Maharashtra to create a highly skilled and employable youth workforce. Role Description The Student role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. Students are expected to attend scheduled classes, practical sessions, and labs regularly, actively participating in skill-based learning activities and projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include completing assignments, engaging in workshops and industry-led sessions, and collaborating with peers on group work and problem-solving tasks. Students may take part in internships, on-the-job training, and career counselling interactions to strengthen employability and entrepreneurial readiness. They are also encouraged to participate in university events, industry engagement programs, and skill competitions to enhance their overall professional development.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in skill-based education, practical learning, and industry-relevant training.
- Ability to commit to full-time, on-site academic and training schedules in Mumbai.
- Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and participate in hands-on projects, workshops, and internships.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and time-management abilities for academic and project work.
- Basic digital literacy and openness to using technology tools and platforms for learning.
- Motivation to pursue employment or entrepreneurial pathways, including openness to career counselling and mentoring.
- Completion of required prior schooling or qualifications as per the specific program’s admission criteria.
