Role Description The Structural Project Engineer – Dairy will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and optimizing structural systems for dairy facilities and related infrastructure, ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru includes performing structural analysis, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, coordinating with civil and architectural teams, and overseeing masonry and concrete works during construction. The role involves managing project timelines, supporting site inspections, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with contractors and vendors to ensure quality execution. The engineer will also prepare technical reports, maintain documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of construction and design practices within dairy projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Engineering and Structural Analysis, with experience in designing industrial or dairy-related structures.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in Civil Engineering and Masonry, including familiarity with concrete, steel, and brickwork construction methods.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, coordination with stakeholders, and monitoring project progress.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, Indian Standards, and safety regulations applicable to industrial facilities.
- Proficiency in structural design and analysis software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS) and CAD tools for drawings and documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site and within cross-functional teams.
- Experience in dairy, food processing, or industrial construction projects is an added advantage.
