We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Design Engineer & Senior Structural Engineer to join our technical team based in Navi Mumbai. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced design engineer to broaden their expertise by working alongside renowned consultants on exciting and diverse projects.
You will be part of a specialised engineering team delivering high-quality structural design services to clients, contributing to projects from concept through to construction. This role offers significant exposure to multi-disciplinary coordination, client interaction, and the opportunity to mentor junior engineers.
- Assist in preparing concept, preliminary, and detailed structural designs.
- Carry out structural design and prepare construction drawings in accordance with relevant design codes
- Coordinate with architects, building services engineers, and other structural engineers throughout project delivery.
- Prepare mark-ups for CAD technicians and review completed drawings for accuracy.
- Perform arithmetical checks and independent design reviews of other engineers' work.
- Ensure allocated work is completed within programme timelines and budget constraints.
- Provide site backup on technical and design issues and attend site visits as required.
- Attend meetings with local authorities, coordination meetings, and client meetings as needed.
- Manage statutory compliance and liaise with local authorities and government bodies.
- Mentor and support Graduate Engineers within the team.
- Adhere to company policies relating to health and safety and quality management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
Experience:
- Intermediate - 3 to 5 years in Structural Engineering
- Senior - 5-10 years in Structural Engineering
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in structural analysis and design software including ETABS and SAFE.
- Competent in the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Familiar with Indian codes.
