Role Description The Strength and Conditioning Coach is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, working closely with clients to improve performance, movement quality, and overall fitness. The coach designs and delivers individualized and group strength and conditioning programs, conducts assessments, and monitors progress to ensure training safety and effectiveness. Daily responsibilities include coaching exercise sessions, teaching proper lifting and movement techniques, and collaborating with physiotherapists to align training with rehabilitation and injury prevention goals. The role also involves educating clients on recovery, warm-up and cool-down protocols, and healthy training habits, while maintaining accurate session records and contributing to a professional, welcoming training environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge in Sports Science to understand human performance, biomechanics, and training principles.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in Strength & Conditioning and Strength Training to design and implement effective training programs.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Athletic Performance to develop sport-specific programs and support diverse client goals.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Injury Prevention to integrate safe training methods, warm-ups, and recovery strategies.
- Relevant certification in strength and conditioning, personal training, or sports science (e.g., NSCA, CSCS or equivalent) is preferred.
- Previous experience coaching athletes or general population clients in a gym, sports, or physiotherapy setting is beneficial.
- Strong communication, observation, and client engagement skills, with the ability to motivate and provide clear feedback.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and maintain professional conduct in a client-focused environment.
