Role Description
The Storekeeper role at MadSign Media is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This role is responsible for receiving goods, unloading deliveries, verifying quantities, and organizing materials in designated storage areas. The Storekeeper will manage inventory records, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely availability of materials for ongoing projects. Daily tasks include packing and preparing items for dispatch, maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, and following company procedures for storage and material handling. The Storekeeper will collaborate with operations and project teams to support efficient workflows and accurate documentation.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control and Inventory Management to maintain accurate stock records and support efficient material usage.
- Candidates should possess skills in Unloading and Forklift Operation to safely receive deliveries and move materials within the storage area.
- Candidates should possess skills in Packing to prepare materials and products for secure storage and timely dispatch.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory or warehouse management software are beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow safety and handling procedures are required.
- Prior experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations, f&b is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site for 12 hr shift in the Kolkata metropolitan area and handle moderate physical activity associated with material handling.
