Role Description The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations at the Chengalpattu location in an on-site capacity. This full-time role includes managing inventory levels, supervising store staff, ensuring proper merchandising, and maintaining accurate stock records. The Store Manager monitors store performance, implements loss prevention measures, and ensures compliance with company policies and safety standards. The role also involves resolving operational issues, coordinating with logistics and procurement teams, and preparing regular reports on sales, stock movements, and store efficiency. A key focus of this position is delivering a high level of customer service and satisfaction, ensuring that customers receive timely, accurate, and professional support.
Qualifications
- Strong store management skills, including experience in supervising staff, overseeing daily operations, and managing inventory and merchandising.
- Proven ability to promote customer satisfaction through effective customer service, issue resolution, and relationship building.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
- Knowledge of retail loss prevention practices, with the ability to implement controls and monitor compliance.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial product environments, preferably plastics or packaging, is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze sales and inventory data and use basic MS Office or ERP systems for reporting and store management.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
