Role Description The Store Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, visual merchandising, inventory management, and ensuring adherence to company policies. This role involves leading and coaching store staff, setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and ensuring an excellent in-store customer experience. The Store Manager will handle customer escalations, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high standards of service and store presentation. The role also includes monitoring shrinkage, implementing loss prevention measures, preparing basic reports, and coordinating with regional management to support overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Effective Communication abilities for interacting with customers, leading teams, and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- Hands-on Store Management experience in a retail environment, including supervision of staff and day-to-day operations.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including monitoring shrinkage, safeguarding assets, and enforcing store policies.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets, basic understanding of retail KPIs, and comfort with using POS and store management systems.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on-site and manage peak customer traffic periods.
- Prior experience in optical or fashion retail is an advantage; a diploma or degree in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred.
