Role:: Starlims Developer
Requirements/Responsibilities
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification, in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in .NET and Oracle/SQL/database application development using multi-tier architecture.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues, mentor team members, and effectively manage resources to meet project timelines and objectives.
- Demonstrate and promote best practices in application design, coding standards, development processes, and tool utilization.
- Perform system failure analysis, implement corrective actions, and recommend performance improvements.
- Ability to independently perform essential duties and collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
Technical Skills
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with the STARLIMS LIMS platform (https://www.starlims.com), specifically within laboratory environments.
- Extensive experience in STARLIMS development, workflow configuration, testing, deployment, and requirements analysis in collaboration with business users.
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2017/2019/2026.
- .NET Framework 4.0, .NET Core, WCF, and RESTful Web Services.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git, TFS, Bitbucket, or other SCM tools.
- Database technologies including Microsoft SQL Server (2008/2016) and/or Oracle PL/SQL.
- Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira (Scrum/Kanban) and Confluence.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Experience with GitHub Copilot and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and development efficiency.
- Experience or familiarity with Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN) and laboratory informatics solutions.
- Exposure to pharmaceutical, life sciences, or laboratory domain applications.
