Job details:
Staffing Sales Manager / Business Development Manager (IT Staffing)
Location: Gurugram
Experience: 3 to 12 years
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, target-driven Staffing Sales Manager / Lead to grow our staffing business on two fronts:
- Domestic IT staffing: Contract staffing for companies in India.
- Offshore / remote IT staffing: placing India-based talent with global clients (US, UK, Europe, Middle East, APAC) in remote and dedicated-team setups.
This is not a US on-site staffing or bench sales role. We want someone who can open doors with Indian and global companies and bring in business where Indian talent gets placed, locally or remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Build and own a pipeline of new clients across domestic and offshore staffing.
- Generate leads through LinkedIn, cold calling, email outreach, referrals and industry networks.
- Pitch permanent hiring, contract staffing and remote staff augmentation to HR heads, TA leaders, founders and CXOs.
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, proposals, commercial negotiation and closure.
Offshore / Remote Staffing
- Target global companies, agencies and startups that want to hire skilled Indian talent remotely.
- Structure offshore engagements (dedicated resources, contract-to-hire, project teams) along with pricing and terms.
- Help build ConsultBae’s presence in international markets for remote talent.
Client & Account Management
- Understand client hiring needs and work closely with the recruitment and delivery teams to make sure we deliver.
- Onboard new clients smoothly and grow existing accounts through repeat and expanded mandates.
- Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
Sales Operations
- Keep CRM records, pipeline status and forecasts up to date.
- Track and report revenue, conversions and sales activity.
- Watch market trends, competitor pricing and new opportunities.
Requirements
- 3 to 12 years in B2B sales or business development, ideally in staffing, recruitment or HR services.
- A proven track record of new client acquisition and closing deals on your own.
- A solid understanding of how staffing works: permanent hiring, contract staffing, margins and billing models.
- Exposure to international or offshore clients is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Comfortable with CRM tools and target-driven work.
- Willing to work on-site from our Gurugram office.
Good to Have
- An existing network of HR, TA or business leaders in India or abroad.
- Experience selling remote staffing, staff augmentation or GCC hiring.
- Experience leading or mentoring a small sales team.
What We Offer
- A chance to build and scale the staffing sales function.
- Attractive performance-based incentives.
- Fast growth and a direct line to leadership.
- Exposure to both domestic and international markets.
