Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Engineer role based in the Pune Division. The Site Engineer will oversee daily construction activities, ensuring work is executed according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Responsibilities include coordinating with civil engineers, contractors, and site workers, monitoring project progress, and resolving technical issues on site. The role involves conducting inspections, maintaining site documentation, and reporting on timelines, materials, and workmanship. The Site Engineer will also support structural engineering reviews, assist in planning and sequencing of work, and communicate project updates to project managers and clients as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision skills and experience working on active construction sites.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess quality control skills, including inspection, adherence to standards, and documentation of site activities.
- Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge relevant to building and infrastructure projects.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and basic project management practices.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, local building codes, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work on-site in varying conditions and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with basic computer tools and, ideally, exposure to engineering or construction software.
