Role Description The Sr IT Executive will oversee day-to-day IT operations at the on-site facility in Guwahati, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient technology infrastructure. This full-time role includes managing network systems, servers, end-user devices, and business applications, while coordinating with internal stakeholders for timely technical support. The position involves diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, implementing preventive maintenance, and documenting IT processes and incident resolutions. The Sr IT Executive will monitor system performance and security, manage backups, and support compliance with organizational and industry standards. The role also requires collaborating with vendors, planning upgrades, and contributing to IT-related improvements that support production efficiency and data integrity.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills, with the ability to resolve complex IT issues promptly.
- Experience in network administration, including configuration, monitoring, and securing LAN/WAN environments.
- Solid understanding of information technology fundamentals, including hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Hands-on experience managing IT operations in an industrial or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, cybersecurity best practices, and basic IT compliance requirements.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate technical information clearly.
