Role Description The Sr. Interior Designer – Residential will lead the design and execution of high-quality residential interiors, working closely with clients, architects, and project teams to translate concepts into build-ready solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing space plans, preparing detailed interior design schemes, coordinating FF&E selections, and producing construction drawings that align with project standards and budgets. The role involves site visits, supervision of installation and finishes, vendor coordination, and resolving design and execution challenges in collaboration with the construction team. The Sr. Interior Designer will mentor junior designers, maintain project documentation, and ensure that all deliverables reflect BricoBrick’s commitment to precision and purposeful design. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Strong spatial design capabilities, including Space Planning and Interior Design for residential projects.
- Solid understanding of Architecture principles and ability to collaborate effectively with architectural teams.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed Construction Drawings and technical documentation for execution.
- Experience in FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, with an eye for quality finishes and materials.
- Relevant degree in Interior Design, Architecture.
- Hands-on experience in residential projects, including on-site coordination and vendor management.
- Ability to lead projects, guide junior team members, and manage timelines and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong visual, presentation, and communication skills; proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) is highly beneficial.
