Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end design projects, from initial concept development and client briefing through detailed drawings, material selection, and on-site coordination. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru involves preparing design presentations, managing space planning, overseeing FF&E selections, and ensuring that design intent is maintained throughout. The position includes mentoring junior designers, collaborating with architects and contractors, and coordinating with vendors to manage timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The Senior Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, provide design recommendations, and support project documentation and approvals.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design expertise, including concept development and detailed design.
- Proficiency in Space Planning to create functional, efficient layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings for coordination with project teams.
- Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and sourcing.
- Advanced skills in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
- Proven experience managing interior design projects from concept to completion, ideally 5+ years.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor design team members and collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
