We are seeking self-motivated Hardware/Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and optimize UWB and sensor fusion-based RTLS hardware and firmware systems, ensuring robust security and seamless integration with digital infrastructure platforms.

Responsibilities· Architect, design and develop UWB-based RTLS hardware modules for precision localization in metallic aircraft environments.
· Implement firmware for secure communication protocols (UWB PHY/MAC, MQTT, WebSocket, and Wi-Fi/Ethernet backhaul).
· Collaborate with software teams to integrate digital twin infrastructure (RBAC authentication, encrypted pipelines, private cloud).
· Conduct PCB design, prototyping, and validation for solution components such as anchors, tags, positioning engine, etc.
· Optimize firmware for low-power operation, real-time synchronization, and aerospace compliance.
· Perform precertification EMC/EMI testing, calibration, and certification readiness (ETSI, FCC, MIC, SRRC, NCC).
· Work closely with cross-functional teams, inventors, leadership to ensure high impact deployment.
Requirements
Core Skills:
· Strong knowledge of UWB hardware, e.g., Decawave/Qorvo DW3000 or NXP Trimension SR150, etc. based systems.
· Experience in firmware development (C/C++/Embedded Linux).
· Familiarity with secure communication protocols (JWT, OAuth 2.0, TLS/SSL).
· Hands-on experience with PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, etc.).
· Understanding of RF design principles (antenna tuning, impedance matching, spectrum compliance).
· Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded debugging tools.
· Proficiency with Git/GitHub for version control.
Preferred Skills:
· Exposure to sensor fusion algorithms for localization.
· Experience with PoE, Wi-Fi, NFC/RFID, biometric modules.
· Familiarity with compliance standards (ETSI EN 302 065, FCC Part 15, MIL STD - 810).
· Prior experience in aerospace or defense-grade hardware systems.
Good to Have
· Familiarity with AFNET.
· Prior project experience in the domain.
Ideal Candidate
· Masters / PhD or B.Tech with relevant 4 year experience in Electronics/Electronics Communication Engineering or related discipline with strong hardware focus
· Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate immediately.
