This role is in our firmware engineering team, working on Embedded C and other applications. The candidate will develop application code for motor controller applications.
Designation: Senior Firmware Engineer - Applications
Location: Bengaluru, India - Onsite
Position Type: Full Time(WFO)
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of Embedded ASW (Embedded Application Software Development) across various Motor control applications - Electric Vehicle 2W/3W/4W, Industrial.
- Analyze, design, and implement solutions based on customer application requirements.
- Integration of HAL (BSW), Middleware, and Communication stack (CAN, RS485, UDS, etc) across different products and projects.
- Developing modular and highly optimized Embedded C code adhering to Automotive compliances and standards i.e. ISO26262, ASPICE. Collaborate with the Firmware verification and validation team.
- Develop and integrate telemetry to make our solutions powerful and intelligent with predictive maintenance and data analytics.
- Develop and Test Application firmware with analysis tools like LDRA or Polyspace for Static Code Analysis
- Hands-on working experience on automotive standards like MISRA C, ISO26262.
Skills and Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in Embedded Firmware/Software Applications development for Automotive/Motor Control product. (Mandatory)
- Hands-on experience and deep understanding in Embedded C, Data Structure & Algorithms. Candidates should be comfortable in debugging code to root cause the logical errors.
- Extensive engineering experience in software development with a proven track record of at least one product from concept to production.
- Ability to translate mathematical concepts to executable code in resource-constrained microcontroller environments.
- Exposure to debugging using lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Logic Analyzers, signal generators, etc.
Qualifications:
- B.E/M.E - EE, CS, ME, EI (or equivalent) from a reputed institution with 2-4 years of related experience.
- Strong fundamentals in physics, mathematical modelling and engineering.
- Understanding of system interfaces, power electronics, motors, and embedded software; EV vehicle architecture knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle architecture, preferably in EV.
- Hands-on experience with Motor Controller - Algorithms or Application development.
