About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on and experienced production professional to manage and monitor day-to-day manufacturing operations at our plant. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-compliant production of textile chemical products while driving productivity and cost efficiency.
Job responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute daily and monthly production schedules
- Monitor batch-wise production, material consumption, and output
- Ensure optimum utilisation of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and utilities
- Coordinate with Planning, Stores, Purchase, QC, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams
Process & Quality Control
- Follow approved SOPs, batch sheets, and manufacturing processes
- Monitor critical process parameters and coordinate with QC/Lab team
- Investigate process deviations and batch failures and implement corrective actions
Manpower Management
- Supervise and allocate production operators and workers across shifts
- Train employees on SOPs, safety practices, and housekeeping standards
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and work discipline
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure strict compliance with EHS, PPE, and chemical handling procedures
- Maintain 5S standards and report accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions promptly
Inventory, Cost & Documentation
- Monitor raw material consumption against norms and minimise wastage and rework
- Maintain daily production reports, batch records, and MIS
- Report deviations against planned targets to the Plant/Production Manager
Qualification
B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Textile Chemistry, Textile Technology, or a relevant discipline. Diploma holders with strong relevant production experience may also be considered.
Experience
Sr. Executive: 3–7 years of relevant production experience.
Assistant Manager: 5–10 years of relevant production experience.
Experience in chemical manufacturing, textile chemicals, specialty chemicals,dyes, auxiliaries, or related industries will be preferred.
