Role Description This is a full-time, role based in Vadodara for a Senior Engineer specializing in Nuclear Piping Design and Stress Analysis. The role involves leading piping design and stress analysis activities for nuclear power projects, including preparing and reviewing piping layouts, isometrics, and support designs in accordance with applicable codes and standards. The Senior Engineer will perform detailed stress calculations, evaluate critical lines, and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, resolving technical issues, reviewing vendor and contractor documents, and supporting design optimization using advanced modeling tools. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers, contributing to project planning and documentation, and supporting client interactions and technical presentations as required.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Nuclear Piping Design and general Piping engineering, including layouts, routing, and support design.
- Proficiency in Stress Analysis of piping systems, including detailed Calculations and assessment of critical lines and load cases.
- Hands-on experience with relevant piping and stress analysis software (e.g., Ansys Mechanical, AutoPIPE, PDMS/E3D or similar 3D design tools).
- In-depth knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, nuclear codes, and related regulations).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10 -12 years of relevant experience in piping design and stress analysis, preferably in nuclear or heavy industrial projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to safety and quality.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
