As a multi-roaster specialty coffee brand roasting our own beans in-house through Kruptos Coffee Roastery, we don't just serve coffee—we cultivate a genuine coffee culture. From precise V60 pour-overs and AeroPress brews to dialled-in speciality espressos and full in-house bakery pairings, we look for people who are deeply passionate about the craft.
What You'll Do:
Craft Exceptional Coffee: Execute precise extractions on commercial espresso machines (like Victoria Arduino Eagle One) and master manual pour-over brewing methods.
Guide Our Guests: Share your knowledge of single-origin beans, flavour notes, and extraction processes with first-time visitors and coffee enthusiasts alike.
Maintain Bar Standards: Calibrate grinders, monitor recipe parameters (like TDS and extraction times), and maintain a spotless, high-standard coffee bar.
Deliver Warm Hospitality: Create an inviting, cozy atmosphere that embodies the 1DM community spirit.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience working as a Barista in specialty coffee cafes or roasteries.
A deep genuine interest in coffee origins, processing methods (e.g., washed, natural, anaerobic), and manual brewing.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining acute attention to detail.
