About The Role
We are seeking a
SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in
Object-Oriented ABAP and SAP OData Services to develop and integrate SAP solutions. The role requires strong experience with
SAP IS-U for Utilities, SAP data models, and enterprise integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Job Description
The role focuses on developing technical solutions in SAP IS-U by understanding key master data and transactional data models and translating functional requirements into scalable ABAP solutions. You will work extensively with Object-Oriented ABAP and SAP Gateway to design, develop, and consume OData services.
You will also support integrations using RESTful APIs and SAP technologies such as RFCs, BAPIs, and Proxies. The role requires hands-on experience with advanced OData capabilities and the ability to build reliable integrations between SAP and external systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop technical solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP within SAP IS-U environments.
- Analyze SAP IS-U data models, master data, and transactional tables to support business requirements.
- Design, develop, and consume OData services using SAP Gateway.
- Implement advanced OData capabilities, including deep inserts, complex entity expansions, and batch processing.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs across SAP and non-SAP applications.
- Work with SAP integration technologies such as RFCs, BAPIs, and Proxies.
- Design and implement seamless integrations between SAP and external systems.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate requirements into effective solutions.
