We’re looking for an experienced Spanish Bilingual Workday Implementation Project Manager to lead the internal coordination, governance, and execution of a complex Workday implementation.\
Location: Remote
Working Hours: 5:30/6:30 PM IST start | U.S. East Coast / EDT overlap
Experience: 8–10 years
Contract: 6–12 months, fixed-term
Role Overview
The Project Manager will own the integrated project plan and coordinate Workday, implementation partners, third-party vendors, and internal business and technical teams.
You’ll be responsible for keeping the implementation aligned with scope, schedule, budget, governance, risks, dependencies, and business objectives, while ensuring strong business readiness through go-live and stabilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the integrated Workday implementation plan across functional, technical, data, integrations, testing, training, payroll, security, change management, and deployment workstreams.
- Establish project governance, meeting cadence, escalation paths, decision-making processes, and reporting.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, actions, scope changes, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate Workday, implementation partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, budget, resources, contracts, and professional-services utilization.
- Challenge incomplete plans, identify gaps early, and hold teams and vendors accountable.
- Coordinate requirements, design, configuration, data conversion, integrations, testing, UAT, training, deployment, and stabilization.
- Ensure payroll requirements, reconciliation, parallel testing, compliance, and cutover activities are fully integrated into the project plan.
- Lead go-live readiness, cutover planning, command-center activities, stabilization, knowledge transfer, and project closure.
- Provide clear status reporting and executive-level communication on progress, risks, issues, decisions, and corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Min 7 years of project/program management experience in enterprise systems, HR technology, payroll, finance, or transformation initiatives.
- Experience managing at least one full Workday implementation or a similarly complex enterprise cloud implementation.
- Strong experience managing multiple functional workstreams, integrations, data conversion, testing, training, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
- Proven experience with project governance, risk/issue management, change control, budget tracking, resource planning, and executive reporting.
- Experience managing implementation partners, consultants, and third-party vendors.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
⭐ Priority #1: We are especially interested in qualified candidates based on the U.S. East Coast who can work within the stated budget. Spanish language fluency is a strong plus.
⭐ Priority #2: We are also open to considering qualified India-based Workday Project Managers.
