Solution Architect – AI/GenAI

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect – AI/GenAI to lead the design and architecture of complex, scalable technology solutions across Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, enterprise applications, cloud, and software engineering.
The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering foundation combined with hands-on expertise in LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, cloud-native architecture, microservices, APIs, and DevOps. The role involves significant client interaction, technical consulting, architecture leadership, and collaboration with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand business challenges, requirements, and technology objectives.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance technical solutions.
- Design end-to-end solution architectures across AI, GenAI, enterprise web applications, cloud platforms, and software systems.
- Architect solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG pipelines, AI Agents, and Generative AI technologies.
- Define and review microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, system integrations, and event-driven architectures.
- Design cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Establish architecture standards covering scalability, security, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Guide engineering teams on architecture decisions, design patterns, coding practices, and technical best practices.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, design walkthroughs, and stakeholder presentations.
- Contribute to solution proposals, RFP/RFI responses, technical demonstrations, and effort estimation.
- Evaluate emerging AI and cloud technologies and identify opportunities for business and technical improvement.
- Drive adoption and optimisation of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, business stakeholders, and clients throughout the solution lifecycle.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience in Solution Architecture / Enterprise Architecture
- Strong understanding of GenAI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and Generative AI
- Expertise in at least one major cloud platform: AWS / Azure / GCP
- Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture
- Expertise in REST APIs / GraphQL
- Experience with distributed systems and enterprise integrations
- Hands-on knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps
- Strong software engineering and system design background
- Excellent client-facing consulting and stakeholder management skills
- Strong technical communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale AI/GenAI solutions.
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed engineering teams.
- Exposure to architecture governance, technical pre-sales, and solution consulting.
