Role: Software Engineer - Intern
Duration: 3–6 months (extendable / convertible to full-time)
Location: Chennai
Stipend: ₹10,000 per month

About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate Software Engineering Intern to join our development team and work on real-world products. You’ll collaborate with engineers and designers to build, test, and deploy scalable web applications. This role offers full-stack exposure with opportunities to learn modern frameworks, API development, DevOps workflows, and agile practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with senior developers to design, develop, test, and deploy features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in JavaScript (Node.js, React, etc.).
- Assist in developing RESTful APIs and integrating them with frontend applications.
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to refine user experience and interface designs.
- Debug and optimize existing code for performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions.
- Learn and contribute to CI/CD, containerization, and version control best practices.
Education Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Equivalent practical experience is also considered.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiarity with React.js, Node.js, or similar frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of Git, REST APIs, and JSON.
- Understanding of frontend–backend integration.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
Good to Have
- Experience with TypeScript, Express, or MongoDB/MySQL.
- Understanding of API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
- Awareness of Agile/Scrum workflows.
- Contributions to open-source or personal GitHub projects.
Learning Outcomes
- End-to-end understanding of building scalable web apps.
- Hands-on experience with a modern tech stack (React, Node, DB).
- Exposure to professional development workflows, CI/CD, and GitOps.
