Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Gurgaon. The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software components that power RankWatch’s SEO and analytics platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing back-end services and APIs, optimizing performance of existing modules, and ensuring reliability and security of cloud-based systems. The role involves collaborating with product and marketing teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, reviewing code for quality and maintainability, and contributing to continuous improvement of the overall architecture. The Software Engineer will also participate in debugging, resolving production issues, and writing clear technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, preferably with modern frameworks and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in one or more server-side languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Node.js).
- Understanding of cloud-based architectures, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and performance optimization techniques.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, with familiarity in version control systems such as Git.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with SEO tools, analytics platforms, or digital marketing technologies is a plus.
