Role Description The Social Media Management Intern is a full-time, remote role focused on supporting the planning, execution, and optimization of social media campaigns across multiple platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and scheduling posts, assisting with content calendars, monitoring engagement and community interactions, and supporting social media optimization (SMO) efforts. The intern will help analyze performance metrics, contribute ideas for content strategy, and collaborate with designers, writers, and other team members to ensure brand consistency. This role offers exposure to real-world client work, hands-on learning in social media marketing, and opportunities to develop leadership and communication skills in a creative virtual environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to support campaign planning and performance improvements.
- Candidates should possess skills in Content Strategy and Writing to contribute to engaging, on-brand content across platforms.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and engage online communities.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube) and basic analytics tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Curiosity about digital marketing trends and willingness to learn new tools and best practices.
- Enrollment in or completion of studies in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is an advantage but not required.
