Role Description The Social Media Management Intern role at Velvet Viral is a full-time, on-site position based in C-Scheme, Jaipur. The intern will assist in planning and executing social media content calendars across platforms, including writing captions, scheduling posts, and ensuring brand consistency. Daily responsibilities include monitoring social media channels, engaging with audiences through comments and messages, and supporting social media optimization (SMO) efforts. The intern will help with basic performance tracking, compiling insights from analytics, and suggesting improvements to content and posting strategies. Collaboration with the marketing and design teams is expected to align content with campaign goals and maintain a cohesive brand voice.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to support platform growth and engagement.
- Candidates should possess skills in Content Strategy and Writing to plan and craft effective, audience-focused social media content.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for clear collaboration with internal teams and professional interaction on social platforms.
- Basic understanding of major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) and current digital trends is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Jaipur, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with common social media tools or scheduling platforms and basic analytics interpretation is an advantage.
- Ongoing or completed coursework in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
