Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Executive role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area within an agency environment. The Social Media Executive will plan, create, and publish engaging content across social media platforms, aligned with client brand guidelines and marketing objectives. Responsibilities include managing social media calendars, monitoring channels, responding to audience interactions, and optimizing posts based on performance data. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams on campaign ideas, supporting digital marketing initiatives, and preparing regular reports on key metrics. The Social Media Executive will stay updated on social media trends and best practices to help enhance client visibility and engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong social media marketing skills, including platform management and campaign execution.
- Proficiency in social media content creation, with an eye for visual storytelling and copywriting.
- Understanding of digital marketing and broader marketing principles to support integrated campaigns.
- Clear and professional communication skills for internal collaboration and audience engagement.
- Ability to analyze social media metrics and derive insights to improve performance.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express) is beneficial.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior agency or social media experience (around 1 year) in a similar role is preferred.
