Social Media Content Creator — Waxys
Full-time | On-site | Bangalore
Waxys is looking for someone who is energetic, expressive, social, and genuinely enjoys being in front of a camera.
This is not a typical social media role where you spend the whole day scheduling posts and making content calendars. We want someone who can become one of the faces of the brand, create short-form videos, jump on trends, work with creators, and constantly bring new ideas to the table.
Note:
- We are primarily looking for freshers and people with less experience as this would be a starting position.
- Mandatory : You need to fill the form at the bottom of the post to be considered with an audition video.
What you'll do
- Create Reels, Shorts, UGC-style videos and social content for Waxys
- Regularly appear on camera for product, lifestyle, trend and entertainment content
- Come up with fresh content ideas, hooks and formats
- Shoot and do basic edits for short-form videos
- Keep track of trends, memes and what is currently working on social media
- Work with influencers, creators, models and the wider Miomnia content team
- Help Waxys feel fun, relatable and human online
- Create content in Indian languages if you're comfortable doing so
We're looking for someone who
- Is confident and natural on camera
- Has high energy and enjoys meeting and working with people
- Understands Instagram, Reels, Shorts and internet culture
- Is creative and constantly comes up with ideas
- Can communicate well in English
- Knows basic video editing
- Is comfortable working on-site in Bangalore
- Is open to experimenting, learning and trying things that may not always work
Knowing Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi or other Indian languages is a strong advantage.
Experience and qualifications
We do not mandate a degree, and previous professional experience is not compulsory.
You can be a student, fresher, creator, aspiring influencer, media enthusiast, or someone who simply knows they are good at this.
We care more about your personality, creativity, confidence and ability to learn than what is written on your degree certificate.
