We are hiring an entry-level SMD PCB Assembly Technician to join our on-site team in Bhubaneswar. This role is ideal for freshers or junior technicians passionate about electronics, soldering, and PCB assembly processes. You will be responsible for assembling and soldering surface-mount and through-hole components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs), ensuring the highest quality standards are met. As a technician, you’ll gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and equipment, such as soldering stations, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens. You'll follow detailed schematics and work closely with engineers to troubleshoot and inspect PCBs using microscopes and diagnostic tools. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and build your skills in SMT production, quality control, and electronic diagnostics. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: Assemble and solder SMT and through-hole components onto PCBs. Perform functional tests, visual inspections, and quality checks on PCB assemblies. Operate soldering stations, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and related equipment. Troubleshoot and repair faulty PCB assemblies using diagnostic tools. Read and interpret circuit diagrams, assembly drawings, and schematics. Maintain ESD-safe workspace and adhere to safety protocols. Document assembly procedures and report issues during production. Collaborate with engineers and the production team for continuous improvement.
Preferred Skills
Diploma or technical certification in Electronics/ElectricalExperience with SMT assembly machines (Pick-and-Place, Reflow Ovens)Understanding of IPC soldering standards
