We are seeking an experienced Financial Modelling Analyst with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will develop and maintain financial models that support key business decisions. Leveraging your advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis capabilities, you will perform complex analyses for client projects, produce high-quality spreadsheets and reports, conduct predictive forecasts, and contribute to strategic and operational reviews. Understanding of LBO modelling, along with other valuation techniques such as DCF and Comparable Company analysis, will be helpful in evaluating investment opportunities and supporting strategic decision-making. Strong communication and time management skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to facilitate accurate business forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making. • Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for performance optimization. • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that inform business strategies and support key initiatives. • Conduct detailed scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate potential risks and outcomes under various assumptions. • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets, ensuring consistency with company goals and financial objectives. • Demonstrate proficiency in LBO modelling, along with other valuation techniques such as DCF and Comparable Company analysis, to evaluate investment opportunities and guide strategic decision-making. • Support valuation processes and business case development for investment decisions, mergers & acquisitions, and capital allocation. • Prepare and deliver clear, actionable financial reports to senior leadership, offering strategic insights and recommendations. • Review financial performance with senior management, undertake ad-hoc financial analysis, and contribute to special projects as needed. • Manage relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure timely and effective delivery of financial modelling projects. • Cultivate strong oral and written communication skills to build professional relationships with internal teams and external clients.
