Role Description The Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities at interior project locations. This role includes coordinating with designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure work is executed according to design specifications, quality standards, timelines, and safety requirements. The Site Supervisor will manage workforce allocation, monitor material usage, and maintain site documentation such as daily reports, checklists, and progress updates. The role also involves conducting regular inspections, resolving on-site issues, communicating project status to management and clients, and ensuring that sustainability and design integrity are maintained throughout execution. The Site Supervisor will support smooth project handovers, including final walkthroughs and punch-list completion.
Qualifications
- Experience in site supervision or project execution for interior design, construction, or fit-out projects, preferably in residential or commercial interiors.
- Strong skills in site coordination, workforce management, and vendor/contractor supervision to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, installation techniques, and on-site quality control practices.
- Understanding of safety standards, compliance requirements, and basic environmental/sustainable practices on site.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with designers, clients, vendors, and on-ground teams.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities in dynamic site conditions.
- Proficiency in basic project documentation, reporting, and use of digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, site management apps).
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru full time, with flexibility to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred; relevant hands-on experience will also be considered.
