About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Site Engineer to oversee construction activities and ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
The candidate will be responsible for site supervision, contractor coordination, quality control, measurements, material planning, project progress monitoring, and resolving site-related technical issues.
Candidates with strong experience in residential construction, house construction, real estate, infrastructure, or civil construction will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities at project sites.
- Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, labourers, architects, consultants, and project teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Inspect construction work and ensure required quality standards are maintained.
- Read and interpret civil and structural drawings.
- Take site measurements and maintain accurate measurement records.
- Monitor material requirements, usage, and wastage at the site.
- Coordinate with the concerned teams for timely availability of construction materials.
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly site progress reports.
- Assist in preparing BOQ, estimates, quantity calculations, and material requirements.
- Monitor manpower, equipment, and resource utilization.
- Conduct regular site inspections and provide project updates to management.
- Coordinate with clients during site visits whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper site practices.
- Maintain proper documentation of site activities, measurements, materials, and progress.
- Coordinate with project and management teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in site execution/construction.
- Strong experience in residential, commercial, house construction, or real-estate projects preferred.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, site execution, measurements, and quality control.
- Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ, estimation, quantity calculation, and material planning.
- Strong contractor, manpower, and site coordination skills.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to independently handle and monitor site activities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and construction documentation.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in and around Bhubaneswar.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred/required for site travel.

Candidates who are technically strong, responsible, leadership-oriented, and capable of independently managing construction site activities will be preferred.
