Role Description The Simulator Instructor will deliver high-quality, simulation-based training on aircraft operations and systems, ensuring that learners gain practical skills in a controlled, realistic environment. This full-time, on-site role is based in Jaipur and involves planning and conducting simulator sessions, briefing and debriefing trainees, and evaluating performance against training objectives and regulatory standards. The instructor will configure and operate simulator equipment, adapt training scenarios to individual and group needs, and maintain accurate training records and documentation. The role also includes collaborating with training and technical teams to update training content, support type rating programs, and ensure alignment with safety and compliance requirements. The Simulator Instructor is expected to provide clear, structured guidance, give constructive feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement of training methodologies and simulator utilization.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in aircraft operations and aircraft systems, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Experience in professional training or instruction, particularly in simulator-based training environments.
- Background in piloting, including practical flight or simulator experience; formal pilot training or licenses are highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of type rating programs and aircraft-specific qualification requirements is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse learner groups.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a safety-first mindset in all training activities.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, manage schedules, and adapt to evolving training and operational needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, aerospace, engineering, or a related field preferred; prior experience as an instructor or trainer is a plus.
