Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Siemens Fire Alarm Service Engineer responsible for installation, commissioning, programming, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Siemens Fire Alarm Systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Siemens Cerberus PRO, Sinteso, and addressable fire alarm systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning, and programming of Siemens Fire Alarm Systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of fire alarm systems.
- Troubleshoot faults in fire alarm panels, detectors, modules, sounders, and networking devices.
- Conduct testing and inspection as per fire safety standards.
- Attend service calls and provide technical support to customers.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and system documentation.
- Coordinate with customers, project teams, and vendors for issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and company safety procedures.
- Support AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) activities and emergency breakdown services.
- Train end-users on system operation and basic troubleshooting.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in Siemens Fire Alarm Systems (Cerberus PRO / Sinteso).
- Knowledge of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.
- Understanding of cause & effect matrix, loop configuration, and networking.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, GA drawings, and fire alarm schematics.
- Knowledge of smoke detectors, heat detectors, MCPs, hooters, modules, and control panels.
- Basic networking knowledge for panel communication and integration.
- Good troubleshooting and customer-handling skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in ECE, EEE, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Fire Alarm System installation and maintenance.
- Experience with Siemens Fire Alarm Systems is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in AMC and service support.
- Knowledge of NFPA, NBC, and fire safety standards.
- Experience in ELV systems such as CCTV, Access Control, and PA Systems is an added advantage.
