Role Description The Shopify Developer Fresher will support the development and maintenance of Tassya Silver’s online store, working on-site in the Pune Division in a part-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in customizing Shopify themes, updating product listings, and ensuring a smooth, user-friendly shopping experience. The role involves collaborating with design and marketing teams to implement visual and functional updates, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and optimize pages for performance and responsiveness. The developer will also help integrate apps and features that enhance customer experience, and support routine testing of store functionalities before and after updates.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Shopify themes, templates, sections, Liquid, HTML, and CSS.
- Create and manage Shopify product pages, including titles, descriptions, images, variants, pricing.
- Edit and customize Shopify themes, layouts, banners, menus, and sections.
- Upload and manage products, collections, categories, tags, and inventory.
- Update product images, videos, specifications, and other content.
- Create and edit collection pages, landing pages, and campaign pages.
- Make website updates for new products, offers, festivals, and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure responsive and mobile-friendly website design.
- Troubleshoot basic Shopify website, layout, and functionality issues.
- Manage Shopify apps and basic third-party integrations.
- Basic understanding of on-page SEO and product-page optimization.
- Improve product pages for better user experience and conversions.
- Coordinate with design, marketing, and SEO teams for website updates.
- Test website changes, links, buttons, images, and pages before publishing.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn.
- Shopify/web development certification or internship experience is an advantage.
- Comfortable working on-site in Pune.
