Role Description The Shopify Developer will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify stores for clients in various sectors. Day-to-day tasks include developing and modifying Shopify themes, configuring apps and integrations, optimizing site performance, and ensuring mobile-responsive, user-friendly designs. The role involves collaborating with designers and marketers, implementing SEO and conversion best practices, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing ongoing support and updates. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rohini, requiring close coordination with the local team and active participation in project discussions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Shopify development skills, including theme customization, Liquid templating, and hands-on experience with Shopify apps and APIs.
- Candidates should possess front-end development skills, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design for cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
- Candidates should possess e-commerce and UX skills, including product setup, checkout flow optimization, basic SEO, and understanding of user journeys that support conversions.
- Candidates should possess debugging and optimization skills, including performance tuning, issue resolution, and version control familiarity (e.g., Git).
- Candidates should possess collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with designers, marketers, and clients, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Candidates should ideally have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience with Shopify and web development.
- Candidates with prior agency experience, familiarity with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Magento), and knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) will be preferred.
