Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Service Engineer specializing in Oil Cooling Units (Chillers). The role involves performing installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, and repair of oil cooling units and associated hydraulic systems at customer sites. The Service Engineer will diagnose technical issues, carry out troubleshooting, and provide timely field service and technical support to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Daily tasks include inspecting equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, replacing faulty components, and preparing service reports and documentation. The role also requires close collaboration with customers and internal teams, clear communication on service activities, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Experience Level : 3-5 Years.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for oil cooling units, chillers, and hydraulic systems.
- Candidates should possess field service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer support.
- Candidates should possess technical support capabilities, including interpreting technical drawings, using test instruments, and resolving equipment issues.
- Candidates should possess maintenance & repair skills for mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical components.
- Candidates should possess clear communication skills for interacting with customers, documenting service work, and coordinating with internal teams.
- Diploma or Equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related field) is preferred.
- Experience with industrial chillers, oil cooling systems, or hydraulic equipment is an advantage.
- Ability to work safely on-site, travel to customer locations as required, and manage time and priorities effectively.
