🚀 Hiring: Senior Technical Specialist – SMTP Backbone & Unix Infrastructure
📍 Location: Pune, India
💼 Experience: 10–15+ Years
We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Specialist – SMTP Backbone & Unix Infrastructure to join our SMTP Backbone Modernization Program. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Unix/Linux infrastructure, SMTP relay architecture, enterprise messaging platforms, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Design, implement, and support SMTP relay infrastructure on RHEL
✅ Manage enterprise email routing, SMTP relays, and mail flow troubleshooting
✅ Configure and troubleshoot Sendmail and open-source email solutions
✅ Perform Linux/Unix administration, patching, hardening, and lifecycle management
✅ Manage SSL/TLS certificates using OpenSSL
✅ Troubleshoot DNS, firewall, network connectivity, and SMTP-related issues
✅ Support automation for patching, updates, and certificate renewals using scripting tools
✅ Perform monitoring, log analysis, RCA, auditing, and performance tuning
✅ Manage LDAP integrations, PAM solutions, and security compliance
✅ Create technical documentation, SOPs, and operational guides
🔹 Required Technical Skills:
✔ SMTP Architecture & Relay Administration
✔ Email Routing & Mail Flow Troubleshooting
✔ Sendmail Administration
✔ Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
✔ Unix/Linux System Administration
✔ Shell Scripting (Bash)
✔ TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall Concepts
✔ SSL/TLS Certificate Management & OpenSSL
✔ LDAP & Enterprise Directory Services
✔ Automation Tools (Ansible preferred)
✔ Monitoring Tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Splunk, SolarWinds)
🔹 Preferred Experience:
⭐ Enterprise SMTP modernization or migration projects
⭐ Large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments
⭐ ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
⭐ Cloud-hosted messaging infrastructure exposure
🎓 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
📜 Certifications (Preferred): RHCSA/RHCE, Linux Foundation, ITIL, Security or Networking certifications
