Role Description The Senior Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction. This role includes supervising civil engineering works, coordinating with project teams and contractors, and ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards. The Senior Site Engineer will monitor project progress, perform site inspections, and implement quality control procedures to maintain structural integrity and compliance with design requirements. Daily tasks involve resolving on-site issues, preparing progress reports, communicating with stakeholders, and supporting project planning and scheduling. The role also requires mentoring junior engineers and site staff, while ensuring that all work aligns with organizational policies and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong structural engineering and civil engineering skills, with proven experience in supervising construction projects.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients.
- Candidates should possess on-site supervision and site management skills, including familiarity with safety practices and regulatory compliance.
- Candidates should possess quality control skills, including experience in inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with standards.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field, along with experience in infrastructure or construction projects.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, using basic engineering software, and preparing technical reports and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, solve problems on site, and manage timelines and resources effectively.
- Knowledge of local building codes, industry standards, and health and safety regulations applicable to projects in India.
