EDUCATION:
- Essential Qualifications: Postgraduate degree, B1/B2 level proficiency in Spanish and B.Ed
- Desirable Qualifications: PGDIE, CIDTL, M.Phil or PhD

This is an exciting opportunity to join our thriving Spanish Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students from Grade 6 through to the IGCSE and IBDP levels. A willingness to be fully involved in the co-curricular life of a busy boarding school is essential.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The teacher is responsible for delivering the Spanish curriculum across the Middle School, Cambridge IGCSE and the IBDP, in alignment with departmental requirements and as assigned by the Principal. The teacher works as part of the department to provide effective teaching and learning programmes focused on improving student engagement and achievement. They actively promote and reinforce the TISB Vision and Mission and exhibit professional responsibility at all times. The teacher is a positive and professional role model, an expert in the subject area, and contributes to the school through professional relationships with students, parents and the wider community.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Ability to create effective lesson plans and assignments
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Experience in guiding students through projects and research work
- Willingness to develop and grow professionally
RESPONSIBILITIES APPLICABLE TO IBDP TEACHERS:
- Supervision of Internal Assessments and Extended Essays.
- Supervision of CAS activities, as allotted
